September 8, 2006 (New York, NY) – White & Associates, P.C. hosted a reception this evening for incoming students of the Fordham University School of Law Master of Laws (LL.M.) “The global economy demands attorneys who appreciate a broader perspective,” commented name partner David M. White.  “Fordham continues to anticipate market trends and develop innovation curricula to prepare its graduates.  Our firm shares that commitment to excellence.”

Since its inception in 1988, the Fordham Master of Laws Program has attracted exceptionally talented individuals who look to expand their practice into the United States.  Today, students can choose from three niche disciplines: Banking, Corporate & Finance Law; International Business & Trade Law; and Intellectual Property & Information Trade Law.

The welcome reception’s twin aims were to foster collegiality among the newly-arrived students and to create an awareness of Fordham’s prominence in the fields of domestic dispute resolution and international conflict management.

Since its inception, White & Associates has proudly supported Fordham international education initiatives. Earlier this year, the firm sponsored Fordham’s participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, an event widely recognized as the world’s premier legal education interschool competition. Fordham enjoyed remarkable success in Hong Kong, SAR, garnering Quarterfinalist distinction.  Additionally, Carolina R. Gonzalez and Jennie D. Woltz each received Best Oral Advocate – Honorable Mention honors.
